About River Tees Rediscovered
The River Tees Rediscovered programme was a five year programme funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund as part of its Landscape Heritage Partnership Funding programme.
The programme aims to reconnect communities, organisations and visitors to the river.

Selected Projects
BOTTLE TOPS
Artist Adam Bligh worked in collaboration with visitors to the 20th Anniversary Open Day of Teesside Barrage with partners the Canal and Rivers Trust to create a bottle top mural now permanently displayed at the North Tower of the Barrage.
CROSSING THE TEES
Artists Miranda Richmond, Adrian Moule and Anna Cole worked in libraries in Darlington, Middlesbrough and Hartlepool to provide workshops inspired by the River Tees in Cynanotypes, Collographs at Home and Blockprints.
Willow Pattern
Working with Middlesbrough born artist Emily Hesse, regular Tees Valley Arts contributor and artist Adrian Moule, we facilitated a collaboration that created the River Tees Rediscovered Willow Pattern Plate engagement.

Art Week with Bub at High Coniscliffe
As part of River Tees Rediscovered, we contracted artist Bub Bacon to work with pupils at High Coniscliffe to explore their Roman heritage.
